Your Neko Atsume-addicted neighborhood Sora here, warning y’all to never say we didn’t do nothin’ for this fandom – BDR and I made contracts with Kyubey to get our hands on this treasure! No translations yet, as we’re still properly digesting the contents (while my stomach is, sadly, not properly digesting things since I had Burger King two days ago), but we’ve got some preliminary pictures and impressions to show you, courtesy of BDR.
SPOILER ALERT: No Jetters badge is included. :(

The boxset comes with…
- The series itself, of course, spread over eight discs. The last disc only has two episodes on it, but it also contains creditless OPs/EDs, commercials for BMJ when it was about to air, commercials for the Blu-ray set, and all of the different eyecatches (pictures that showed before and after the commercial break in the middle of the episode).
- A booklet that has character profiles, a complete episode guide containing episode summaries (which also list the writer, storyboard artist, and art director for the episode), and cast/staff comments on the show.
- A drama CD billed as “Episode 53″ of the series.
- A cloth poster with the Jetters team and the Hige Hige-dan on it.
- A metal CD storage case, but only if you were neurotic like us and pre-ordered the set from Amazon. No idea if any other places had pre-order bonuses.
No extensive comparisons have been done yet, as this arrived only several hours ago, but on a quick run-through, both the image quality and the sound quality are super crisp and clear. Unfortunately, it’s letterboxed, and there are no subtitles in either Japanese or English.
All of the goodies came packaged in this case:
